2012 World Series of Poker

February 13th, 2012 World Series of Poker, WSOP 0 Comment

I doubt anyone was waiting in the wings to hear how I did in Vegas. Well, I didn’t update because we never made it. My wife ended up getting sick, so we just stayed in town.

So the question is “what will I do to prepare for the 2012 World Series of Poker?” I guess I need to just start playing some local tournaments again.  I miss the days when I could just log on and play online, but now that there isn’t real money at stake, people just play even crazier, so it’s not a really great way to practice.

While I was in MD last week, someone suggested that I try to win a seat online, I just don’t have that much free time.

I guess I need to play to get back into the groove over the next few weeks if I am really going to make it happen. Being away last week certainly put me behind in my “day job” and this weekend, I will be at the NHRA Nationals in Phoenix so that means it’s a short work week and a LONG weekend.

Back to Blogging About Poker and Other Random Stuff

Hey folks, it’s Anthony here.  I started this blog a few years back to chronicle my poker journey and I guess I just got super busy and stopped blogging about poker. Anyhow, I am back and I am looking forward to playing more poker and talking all about it. I am also going to launch a very unique program here as I look forward to playing in the World Series of Poker in 2012. I’ve talked about it for too long… it’s time to take action.  One of my clients actually encouraged me to step it up and play in one of the smaller WSOP games, so that is most likely where I will start. A WSOP win is a WSOP win and there is no shame in staring small.

Anyhow, thanks for listening and stay tuned!
